The Rose of Love is written for double choir because it is meant to sing in two languages – English and Farsi. We hear the lyrics as originally written in Farsi, as well as in their English translation. Each choir also sings in two different modes – Shour (Persian) and Pentatonic. The choirs eventually unify to show the idea of the rose of love at the end.

Dr. Tebyani has received his Bachelors degree in Classical Music Composition at California State University, Northridge.
